Close Building Services Ltd, located in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, has a 30 year history of servicing both the local, and national needs of all types of Construction/Maintenance Contracts, including general building maintenance, national window installation, national decorating contracts, installation and removal of portable buildings and domestic building works, loft conversions, extensions and new build.

2007 saw the business expand into local government contracts and has since been awarded preferred contractors status for specific local councils. We are CHAS Accredited, are members of Federation of Master Builders, and our Health and Safety Policy is mentored by the Royal Bank of Scotland.

We currently employ a staff of 36, which includes time served tradesmen, plumbers, joiners, bricklayers, decorators, ground workers and support labourers. We have a managerial team which include an Installation Manager, a Health and Safety Manager and Administration staff.

We are fully committed to developing our Workforce for the future, and to this end have recruited four young trade Apprentices, combining study through Doncaster College's Apprenticeship Programme, and on the job training. We only subcontract Mechanical and Electrical trades whose working practices align with our own.

All our employees are CSCS registered, and the majority have completed training courses in PASMA, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, Risk Assessments, PERMA Roof and Excavators. We are fully insured for all types of work including contractors all risk and plant hire.

We have negotiated competitive rates and lead times with all our suppliers, and are able to offer an excellent service for all supply and fit contracts. We offer a full Project Management Service for both commercial and private work, and will liaise with the local planning department on behalf of a client.
